On the next clear night, we decided to setup on a quiet beach at Bon Echo Park with an open view of the sky.  The sky was great, with just some minor low lying fog.  The sky further improved late at night, and the summer Milky Way was very impressive with a wealth of structure.  It was a very beautiful and peaceful viewing session by the water.

I observed for two and a half hours until dawn and I saw 77 meteors (23 Southern Delta Aquariids, 14 Perseids, 5 alpha Capricornids, 4 Anthelions, 4 Northern delta Aquariids, 2 49-Andromedids, 2 phi Piscids, 1 gamma Draconid, 1 eta Eridanid and 21 sporadics).

The highlight was a -4 alpha Capricornid fireball at 3:07am, that travelled slowly through Taurus, and flared.  Also noteworthy was the flurry four meteors all within the span of a few seconds, each coming from a different active shower.
